TEXAS DISCO ROAD RUNNERS CHAPTER
A big Texas “Howdy” and thank you for visiting the chapter page for the Texas Disco Road Runners, or TDRR, as we like to call ourselves.
Our chapter has been active since November 2000 (one of the first DOAI chapters organized) and is open to any DOAI member in good standing. “Winter Texans” are invited to become part of our extended family.
At our rallies and meetings we enjoy discussing Discovery enhancements, problems, fixes, favorite places, future destinations, routes, attractions, restaurants, and just about anything else that is travel or RV related. Our Rally Master makes sure that special activities are scheduled for us at each rally. We enjoy the company of one another and genuinely feel a family-like camaraderie within the group.
We schedule at least four “official rallies” a year and will throw in “mini rallies” at the drop of a hat! We have also conducted “rolling rallies”, the favorite being through West Texas in the Big Bend area.
Recent rallies have included Waco, Midland, Dublin, Riviera, Tyler/Canton, Big Bend, Lake Conroe, Denton, Nacogdoches, and Mason. Members have also attended DOAI National Rallies, the last two in Goshen, IN and Pueblo, CO, and Regional Rallies in Seffner, FL and Sevierville, TN.
