CURRENT DOAI NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

DISCOVERY OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.

Welcome to the home of the premiere organization for owners of Discovery motorhomes.

The Discovery Owners Association, Inc. (DOAI) is a social organization consisting of members who own Fleetwood Discovery motorhomes. DOAI was formed in 1998 to promote the sharing of information and fostering friendships with fellow Discovery motorcoach owners.

We are a non-profit group and are not affiliated with Fleetwood/REV, FMA, FMCA or any other group. We are an organization that has dedicated volunteers that help to ensure the club runs smoothly.

DOAI is a great way to make new friends, learn about your Discovery coach, and enhance your ownership experience and enjoyment of the RV lifestyle. We invite you to join this GREAT group of like-minded Discovery owners by clicking the button below.

Should you have any questions, please contact the DOAI Membership Coordinator at DOAIMembership@discoveryowners.com
2023 National Rally Attendees

Giving Back to the Community

DOAI Is more than a social club for Discovery motorhome owners. We also like to support the communities where we gather. At the recent 2024 DOAI National Rally in Shawnee, OK, attendees generously donated money and non-perishable food items to the following organizations:

  • The Legacy Parenting Center in Shawnee, OK received a monetary donation in the amount of $2,927 as well as diapers, formula and other needed items

  • The Community Market of Pottawatomie County received 1,546 lbs. of requested non-perishable food items

  • The Shawnee Animal Shelter received a monetary donation of $250 in addition to requested dog food and other shelter needs

A Heartfelt Thank You from The Sevier County Isaiah 117 House

DOAI members are a very caring and giving group, and that generosity was on full display throughout Camp Discovery. In addition to supporting The Sevier County Isaiah 117 Houseas the selected charity, attendees also supported Sevier County Food Ministries with an impressive collection of food and non‑perishable items.

During the week, we heard from Carolynn Helton at Sevier County Food Ministries with an exciting update: Camp Discovery participants collected 2,250 pounds of food and non‑perishable goods. She expressed deep appreciation for the outpouring of support and the meaningful impact it would have in the community.

An Extraordinary Week of Giving

Camp Discovery attendees contributed $5,065 through 50/50 ticket sales and private donations in support of The Sevier County Isaiah 117 House. Saturday night alone brought in more than $2,200, with half of that total designated for Isaiah 117 House.

Then came a moment that made this year's rally truly unforgettable. An anonymous donor stepped forward and offered to match the entire week's donations up to $5,000. In all of our years with DOAI, we had not experienced such a generous act of kindness, nor had we ever seen such a remarkable amount raised in a single night.

Thanks to the generosity of DOAI members and the extraordinary matching gift,The Sevier County Isaiah 117 House will receive a total of $10,056 from this rally.

This accomplishment was nothing short of incredible. Every person who participated—whether by purchasing raffle tickets, making a private donation, or contributing food items—played a meaningful part in making a difference.

Comment from a member about one of the benefits of being a DOAI member:

I'll take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate you folks and this forum.

I've been RVing for many years and in the past was pretty ignorant about the workings of my rigs.

…the advice and knowledge I have gained just by reading this forum has already saved me many hours of paying for someone else to do it.

That is both satisfying and thrifty and I thank you all.
