It's time for me to move to something smaller, so have decided to put my 1999 37V for sale. I have recently installed a new Tetford toilet (in fact it has never been used), Fantastic fan motor, directional and hazard lights relays, a new Playmate mounted on the roof and a new broadband antenna. The 32" TV is less than a year old. The kitchen faucet is fairly new. It has a microwave convection oven and a 3 burner propane cooktop and a washer/dryer. The oven has never been used. The pantry has been reworked so there are full-extension drawers which lift out. Among other improvements, my late husband, Carl, built and installed a desk with three drawers and a posting tray, however I have the loveseat that could be installed in it's place. The double door refrigerator/freezer works beautifly and he made plexaglass inserts to hold the frozen foods. The rear monitor and the radio/CD player have been upgraded. The Blue Ox hitch has been used approximately 6 times. The mileage is 134,134. 275 ISB with a Banks. The generator has 2729.2 hours.
If you have been around for awhile, you will recognize that Carl took very good care of our motorhomes. (This is our 3rd D.) Since his death, I've had a mobile tech who has kept it up and running. I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. As we oldtimers realize, the 1999 Discovery is a very dependable workhorse. When we bought it in 2010, it had 48,908 miles on it. On the way home from CA we had a Steer Safe installed. It handles beautifully in all condiitons.
